Our Purpose and Vision

Purpose:

To provide public worship of the true God
To lead people to a greater and more fulfilling commitment to Jesus as Lord
To encourage Christ-like living through character and service
To help spread the Good News of Jesus Christ throughout the world

Vision:

That Cape Neddick Baptist Church would be a people of great joy and comfort and be instrumental, by the power of God, in seeing generations of followers of Christ who uniquely discover God's goodness and love and pass that on to others.

Basic Values

Our values are based on the truth of the Scriptures God has given to us...

They are founded on the authority of the Bible as the inspired Word of God and committed to the individual's private interpretation based on a careful study of the Scriptures.
The Deity of Jesus Christ, His atonement for man's sin, His bodily resurrection, His ascension and present ministry of intercession, His second coming when He will make a personal return.
The gift of salvation from the state of guilt and eternal separation from God's presence, through the righteousness of Jesus Christ, by faith and only through God's incredible grace.
We are wholly dependent upon the Holy Spirit for daily living and service, with His power and comfort and counsel.
We are united in fellowship through faith in Christ and the common bond of God's Spirit as together we seek to grow in our faith and knowledge and relationship with God.
We are committed to sharing God’s love in our community and the world, the love expressed through Jesus's death on our behalf on the cross and His faithfulness to us now in His resurrected status of Savior and Lord over all.
