Cape Neddick Baptist Church
Serving Cape Neddick and the World

Our Strong Belief in Supporting Local, National, and International Missions

The Cape Neddick Baptist Church members participate in the annual denominational mission programs:

  • America for Christ Offering-March;

  • One Great Hour of Sharing-June;

  • American Baptist Churches of Maine Annual Offering - July;

  • World Mission Offering-October;

  • Retired Ministers and Missionaries Offering-December.

Information about the denomination’s mission programs can be found at www.abc-usa.org.

The first Sunday of each month a special offering is taken to support the Fellowship Fund, which is administered by the Diaconate to support local community needs.

Members also give their time in delivering Meals on Wheels, assisting the York County Service Agency, preparing Hospital Chaplancy Supplies, and volunteering with local agencies.

Church members support these mission organizations with financial gifts, prayers, letters, and personal involvement.

Mission Distribution Policy

The Cape Neddick Baptist Church by-laws state how individual gifts and church monies are distributed for mission support:

"All undesignated monies received, those being loose offerings, interest, and dividend income from bank accounts and stock and bonds will be divided 80% for current expenses and 20% for missions. Mission money will be divided with 75% going to the unified budget and 25% going to other missions as designated by the Diaconate."

We invite you to join us in serving Christ in Cape Neddick and the World through financial gifts, letters, prayer, and personal involvement!
